The Economy of Trust

Trust is not a feeling. It is an infrastructure. On how reputational capital is built inside an attention economy.

We live in an economy where attention is abundant and trust is scarce. For two decades I have watched — from behind television cameras and from inside strategy rooms — how trust is built and, more importantly, how it is lost.

Trust is not a consequence of communication. It is a consequence of coherence. A brand — personal or corporate — becomes credible when what it says, what it does, and what it is converge at a single point. The rest is noise.

Strategy, in its most honest form, is the discipline of aligning those three planes. We do not sell promises; we build proof.
